We are pleased to announce the acquisition of WALDRONSMITH Management (WSM). After careers spanning more than 30 years, Gerald and Kate have decided to hand over the reins to Renee Bennett as the new owner and company director.
“Importantly, Encanta Event Management and WALDRONSMITH Management will continue to operate as separate businesses, each with its own identity, clients and teams. What this transition reflects is a shared philosophy, aligned values and a strong commitment to continuity, quality and people — for both our clients and our teams.
I feel genuinely privileged to be entrusted with leading WSM into its next phase and to honour the remarkable legacy Kate and Gerard have built. I’m also delighted to announce the return of Lexie Duncan to the industry who will take on the day to day operations of WSM as General Manager. “ – Renne Bennett
Kate Smith will remain as a consultant at WSM over the coming months, supporting a smooth transition.
